The Problem

This morning dad took Sava for a playdate at his buddy Kyle's house. When they came home after noon, I could hear Sava crying on the street, and then crying again when he got into the house. Rado later told me that he had had a couple of meltdowns over nothing--as he would when he is hungry and pooped from playing all morning--and he, Rado, had lost patience with him a bit. While Sava was moaning about something in the bathroom, Rado had asked him, "Sava, what is your problem?" Sava had turned to him dead serious, and said, "You know, tati, the problem is that Raya is too small! When will she finally start walking and talking?"
The child is good at psychological self-analysis. Even though it seemed like the problems were other trivial things, he knew enough to know that the real problem was something far more serious. He's got a sister! And she's a baby!
We have been laughing about it all day.
