Ever since she was a few weeks old, Raya has been sleeping in a contraption called The Nap Nanny, invented by a mom whose baby liked to sleep only in a car seat. The nap nanny is effectively a deluxe car seat made of soft foam and elevated at a 30% angle to help babies with reflux; it has to be the most expensive piece of foam out there. Just recently we started putting the nap nanny in Raya's crib, so that she would get used to sleeping in the crib.
