What kind of parents fail to record three months of their baby's first year? Parents like us. Milestones, successes, failures, bumped heads, sleepless nights, good naps, bad naps, it's all gone unrecorded. And forever. Still, not everything is lost, and I figure a late post is better than no post at all.
So, here is a brief list (and probably full of memory lapses) of the last three months:
-Sava met grandpa Joni when he visited in November/December for 5 weeks; they really liked each other
-he started sitting right around 6 months
-he began trying to crawl around 7 months and really took off around 7.5 (I think; we have videos, thank goodness, and they have the date and time)
-he climbed the stairs for the first time on Christmas day; just went for it and did it; then he kept doing it obsessively for about two weeks, and now he is bored with it and rarely does it
-we finally had enough of sleeplessness around the beginning of December, and decided to let him cry it out; since then, he's been sleeping much better, even though he still wakes up at least once to eat (and sometimes twice); he naps twice a day, sometimes better and sometimes worse
Ooopss...nap is over. To be continued.
