Bear Snores On

Sava is finally starting to notice books. He smiles at Goodnight Moon when daddy & I read it together at night before putting him to bed--his face spreads in a wide grin as we begin, "In the great green room, there was a telephone and a red balloon and a picture of..."--and during naptime he often helps me turn pages as I am reading. I am a nut now about children's books; can't get enough of them. We try to buy one book a week, and our most recent acquisition is Bear Snores On, which we bought during an outing to Borders this past rainy weekend. I like the pretty pictures and sweet rhymes of the book, and Sava seems quite taken with it as well. The next one on our list is "Is Your Mama a Llama," which someone at playgroup recommended.
