Just pictures

Sava craves Raya's love and approval--because at some level he understands that being a beloved brother is a direct pipeline to our love--and she in turn thinks that he is a living god. Just in the last few days, she has perfected the art of rolling every which way, at speeds that defy her parents' imagination. It is much better to change her diaper on the floor now, because doing it on our bed, as we've been doing for months, carries a serious risk of her ending on the floor if our attention wavers for a moment. So, this afternoon, during a particularly frisky diaper change, she and Sava had a blast rolling together, laughing, and being silly. It's wonderful to see them becoming aware of each other as potential playmates, despite the three-and-a-half year difference.
