Which is why it is all worth it...

 A year ago, it would have been very hard for me to imagine that some day these two would be engaging with each other. People told me they would but, like being told that childbirth is painful or that a sunset over the mountain could take your breath away, you don't believe it until you've lived it.
Well, here we are...and what a lucky duck our girl is. She couldn't possibly wish for a gentler brother.
(As this video demonstrates, Sava continues to speak to Raya in his sweet heavily-accented Bulgarian, even though I speak to him exclusively in English, and he often speaks to his dad in English, too...but he has figured out that we want Raya to speak Bulgarian, and he makes every effort to speak Bulgarian to her as well.)
