Sunday Slivers, 5/1/11: Short

This mama has pneumonia, after a long week that included two kids home with a stomach virus, one trip to the ER with Raya for dehydration, more time at home for Rado than time spent at work, and more puke than we ever care to clean again. So, these slivers will be very very short, including mainly photos, and mostly a bunch from today.

On our one outing to the park pre-sickness, Raya pilfered someone else's "baby" and stroller, and now that is all she can talk about; she knows that her own doll is lost, and we hear about it all the time..."bebe...Ema...gubi! kupi! dugo!" Yes, she is getting another one soon.

In between sicknesses, we stole some more Phoebe time, involving clothes and accessory swaps, as usual--

Today we figured out how to remove Sava's pedals and helper wheels, and he is finally on his way to learning how to balance. He is thrilled.

I love how, in the course of a single hour-long walk around our 'hood, there are a thousand occasions to capture some of the infinite facial expressivity of kids. Their eyes, noses, brows, and mouths reveal absolutely everything.

These two photos: 100% spontaneous. He just wanted to be near her. She has no idea yet how lucky she is. He keeps telling us that when he grows up, he wants to marry Raya.

And how do we know they are getting better after the sicknesses? Because we witness silliness at a whole new level:
And I am afraid this is it from this tired mama. Here's hoping for a very healthy week for everyone.
