Historic Nap

Sava has difficulty logging in, so it falls to me to begin this blogging odyssey.

After an epic struggle, Sava took a three-hour long nap today--the first time ever he fell asleep by himself without being nursed to it and without being swung or held. Mommy was so shocked by the occurrence that she stayed motionless next to him during the entire nap. She should have dozed off herself, as sleep has been the scarcest commodity in the last four months, but the event was too thrilling not to watch. He woke up refreshed and screaming--for some milk. Then he ate and would have fallen back asleep if it was not close to dinner-time; instead, mommy brought him down to play.
